CICOM BRAINS offers support for sustainable growth of individuals and organizations.
President's Message
The modern business society has been exposed to inconceivable environmental changes. To address this challenge, corporations and businesspeople are searching for new “knowledge” and “skills”. CICOM BRAINS, now entering into our second year after the merger, has been committed to boosting our business to meet your expectations.
One of the greatest challenges for corporations is to increase their commitment to overseas as well as domestic market development, especially in emerging markets such as Asia, South America, and Africa. Particularly in China and Southeast Asian countries gaining extreme importance to Japan, local corporations are becoming powerful competitors, and various changes in business relationships are supposed to occur due to M & A activity in the near future. Under these circumstances, many Japanese corporations are seeking to acquire excellent local staff at their overseas bases and develop them as a part of long-term workforce. Alternatively, valuable resources have been devoted to the fostering of Japanese employees able to assume governance of overseas operations.
Our company has been providing open school programs and corporate trainings designed to develop global talent for more than a decade in Japan. Moreover, we established SICOM BRAINS (Shanghai) in last April, in addition to SICOMS BRAINS (Asia) in Singapore. These overseas offices enable us to support local human resources development in more extensive areas across Asia.
Another challenge is to tackle market changes taking place in various industries in Japan or abroad. In certain industries, for example, the former strategy of selling high-priced high specification products is shifted into another approach of offering products with specification responding to customers’ needs at a reasonable price. Some corporations whose core products or services are changing are required to reorganize the business scheme on department levels, as well as to restructure full corporate strategy. In R&D Department, primary focus is being placed on grasping market needs and achieving competitive superiority. In Sales Department, it is necessary to further enhance sales skills including attentive listening to customers’ needs, the subsequent presentation skills, and closing abilities.
We have been offering the ISL (Innovation Strategy and Leadership) basic program recommended by MIT Sloan School of Management in our open schools, as well as corporate trainings, including customized training program which integrates MBA and MOT contents with practical in-house problem-solving training, HPC consulting sales skill improvement program, and UPA communication skill improvement program. Through this comprehensive support, we have obtained high levels of satisfaction from our training participants and attained a high customer retention ratio. From now on, we will work toward the enhancement of our consulting capabilities to help your company find solutions to your specific issues.
We look forward to your continued support of CICOM BRAINS in the future.
