Prof. Masataka Ota has researched and taught International Marketing Management and Cross-Cultural Management for over 30 years. He is the ex-dean of Graduate School of Commerce (inclusive of WBS) as well as the ex-vice president of Waseda University in Academic Affairs and International Affairs. His current research focuses on the internationalization of Japanese service business companies and the development of global leaders from the lens of cross-cultural management. Professor Ota was a visiting scholar at MIT Sloan School of Management and a visiting faculty of IMD in Lausanne and Cambridge Judge Business School in UK. He is also the director of Waseda Asian Service Business Research Institute.
